This Slab Miller with saw blade stacks can be used to increase the capacity in a log saw. It reduces up to 4 cuts per log as it eliminates the slab while sawing the first board and produces saw dust. 

At the development of this system, one of the main focuses has been energy efficiency. Synchronous reluctance motors are used for higher efficiency.
